Get to Know Me

In 1996 I qualified with a degree in Business and Maths. However, after working in marketing for 12 years I realised that this was not enough for me and I became a foster carer, giving a home to children in care, eventually adopting two girls with additional needs.

During this time, my focus shifted to the needs of people around me, especially my girls with attachment issues and a close friend who, despite being the pastor of a church was struggling because of unmet psychological needs.

In 2013 I started training as a counsellor, qualifying with a diploma in counselling from Marriott’s Counselling Academy.

Over the last few years I have worked with people in recovery from addictions, with ex-offenders, those who are stressed, bereaved, depressed and suicidal. My passion is for those who are broken, working together on the road to recovery.

I now live in Eastbourne with my family and am running my counselling sessions from my home. I can offer flexible appointments in daytime, evening and weekends. Please contact me for details of appointment availability.

I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and I adhere to their Ethical Framework.
